About the Control Panel | Top The Control Panel is the central location for all designer tools and options. From the Control Panel, you can do the following:
There are two different Control Panel views: Basic Control Panel view and Expanded Control Panel view. By default, when you click , the Basic Control Panel displays. If you are a new user or have little experience using WebCT Campus Edition, we recommend you use the Basic Control Panel. The Basic Control Panel contains links to common tasks for setting up and managing your course. Depending on administrator settings you may be able to access the Course Design Center from the Basic Control Panel screen to assist you in building your WebCT course. If you have experience using WebCT Campus Edition, you may prefer to change the default Control Panel to Expanded Control Panel view. The Expanded Control Panel provides one screen where you can view, add to, manage, and modify all functions for your course. Note: By default, the Homepage
displays when you access a course from your myWebCT.
