Additional Required Reading: Each week, students are expected to read Entrepreneurship, Business Week, Fortune Magazine or various periodicals (traditional or .com version) and be prepared to discuss an article as it relates to current chapter material.
Course Description: Introduction to planning and implementation of the operations of a small business as well as remedial action for small business problems. Topics covered include legal considerations, financial and administrative control, supervision and personnel, site selection, competition, sales promotion, and marketing.
