Internet Activities:

All Email and Discussion Area assignments are numbered. It keeps the
topics in loop (thread). You must write assignment # in the subject box when
submitting assignment
2.
I will comment only to those assignments that receive less than 50%
marks
3.
Assignment must be submitted within the assigned week i.e. within
start and end dates, not before the start of the week and not after the
end of the week.
4.
Generally, week starts Monday morning and ends Sunday night, but not
always. Therefore, it is very important that you keep your own calendar for
the exams and assignments due dates. No reminder will be sent.

are numbered and designated for email submission or discussion,
Email Assignments: These assignments must be submitted via email.
Discussion Assignments:
These assignments must be discussed in the
Discussion Area.
This segment of the course is particularly important for
expressing your view on the topic and textbook material. The discussion is
asynchronous i.e. anywhere, any time within the assignment period. This is a
threaded discussion, not a “live” chat. Level and quality of participation
matter. I will monitor, facilitate and participate in discussions, when and
if needed. Students have to participate at least
three times on a given discussion topic as follows:
1st Posting:
a)
State how the topic relates to you.
b)
How it may help in understanding aspect of economics you studied so
far?
c)
State your position for or against the issue.
2nd Posting:
a)
Challenging the opposing point of view(s)
b)
Cite your experience, observation, readings etc. to support your point
of view
3rd Posting:
a)
Summarizing and defending your position or agreeing to the position
taken by other(s). In either case, you must support your argument with some
data/references
