You may purchase your text books online at the HCC Bookstore.

All courses require a textbook. Some courses require an "access code". Be sure to carefully read the textbook listing in the bookstore.

Each Online Learning course will have specific requirements regarding testing dates, times and locations, discussion groups, etc. that students should review prior to registration. Online Learning is NOT Self-Paced!

An Online Learning course begins and ends on a defined schedule. Students should be prepared to "attend" class on the first day of the semester but no later than Thursday of the first week.

Students having questions about the course content should e-mail the instructor PRIOR to registration.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy - Spring & Fall
- Prior to the semester’s first day of classes and during the first week of classes - 100% of tuition and ESF
- During the second week of classes - 50% of the tuition and ESF
- After the second week of classes - NO REFUND
A Withdrawal Form must be completed to receive any refund. Refunds are based on the date the form is received, regardless of registration
date or attendance. Processing of refunds takes 3-4 weeks. Do not fax Withdrawal Forms.
** Student Service, Facility Use, and PVTA Fees are refunded 100% for college withdrawals prior to the start of classes. No refunds are made
after this. Health Insurance Fees are not refunded after the start of classes.

- During the 2 business days following the add/drop period - 50% of tuition and ESF
- After the 50% refund period - No refund
