Withdrawing From Class: Add/Drop: Students wishing to drop a course(s) AND add another course(s) may do so with the form below. Do not use this form to withdraw from a course. Please complete the form, save it to your computer and send as an attachement dladvising@hcc.edu. **Course information including CRN numbers and prerequisites can be found on the main E-Institute page. Financial Assistance: Students seeking to use Financial Aid must be matriculated into a degree or certificate-granting program Students must complete the Financial Aid form found at www.fafsa.ed.gov Please read all directions carefully Additional Financial Aid information can be found at: http://www.hcc.edu/admissions/pay_finaid.html. Placement Assessment: Holyoke Community College assesses all newly admitted students before they schedule classes for their first semester of study. The purpose of these required tests is to assess achievement in the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. Students who do not demonstrate college-level basic skills are required to take developmental courses that are designed to improve the skills needed to be successful in college. No credit toward graduation is awarded for developmental courses. If a student’s English or Math placements test scores are more than two years old, and the student has not been enrolled in a related math or English course, a retest is required.
