Once I'm logged in, what do I do?

When you get to the class home page you will see several options at the top of your WebCT screen (see below).

These options include:

Hide Navigation	removes the column on the left-hand side of your screen
MyWebCT	takes you back to your myWebCT
Resume Course	allows you to resume reading the material in the Course Module which may contain course content
Course Map	lists links to all parts of the course
Logout	exit your WebCT course
Help	provides instructions on using the tools in WebCT

Within your class home page, you will see one or more headings and several icons. There may also be a banner at the top of the page.

Your instructor will use the headings to provide information and instructions to the class. Be sure to read these headings carefully. Depending on your instructor, some of the headings may change on a regular basis. The course icons will provide links to documents such as the class syllabus, chapter notes, or assignments. The icons will also provide links to WebCT tools, such as the discussions tool (or bulletin board), WebCT mail, or the online quizzes. When you click on one of these links, your screen will change accordingly.

To get back to the class home page look for buttons or links to Home or to Back. Do not use your browser’s "Back" button.
