Yes, just make sure you use the correct extension in the file name when saving. For a word document created in Works or WordPerfect we suggest the file extension .rtf (Rich Text Format). For Excel documents .xls. Documents created in WORD with a .doc extension, are fine. If in doubt, check with your instructor.
